Landscape Labourer

Job description:
Regular maintenance will involve and not limited to mowing, edging and fertilizing lawns, weeding and mulching landscape beds, trimming small trees, hedges and shrubs. As well as removing un-wanted, dead or damaged trees, watering gardens, lawns and landscapes, monitoring and maintain-ing plant health.
Responsibilities may also include planting trees, shrubs and flowers to either upgrade an existing outdoor space or create a new one. May also be responsible for grading and installing lawns or con-structing hardscapes such as decks, walkways and patios as well as installing sprinkler or lighting systems.
Work Conditions, Requirement and Skills:
 Perform work quickly and efficiently, demanding excellence in quality of work.
 Prefer experience in a landscaping or groundskeeping role, willing to train.
 Must be able to safely operate maintenance equipment including mowers, leaf blowers, and aerators.
 Lift 70 pounds and handle the physical demands of the job, including standing, bending, pulling, climbing, walking, crouching for long periods of time and carry out strenuous physi-cal tasks.
 Able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
 Works well independently and with a team.
 Knowledge of basic lawn maintenance.
 Ability to work in a variety of outside conditions for long periods of time.
 Adhere to safety precautions.

This is a seasonal position working up to 44 hours per week potentially from March to October, weather dependant.
Location:
Cambridge and surrounding areas, required to have a clean driving record as you may drive compa-ny vehicles.
You are responsible for getting to and from the worksite each day. Transportation will be provided for out-of-town jobs.
Wage:
$21.00 to $26.00 per hour depending on experience
