Youth Job Connection
YJC Program
The Youth Job Connection program serves youth who experience barriers to employment by providing supports beyond traditional job search and placement opportunities.
Program Features
- Participants receive minimum wage for 60-90 hours of employment-related workshops
- Assistance securing employment from a skilled Job Developer
- Financial placement supports for participants and hiring incentives for employers
- Ongoing support provided through coaching and mentoring
Eligibility
- 15-29 years of age (15-17-year-olds must be legally excused from school)
- Eligible to work in Canada
- Out of School and Out of Work
- Facing additional challenges in finding or keeping employment

YJC Summer Program
YJCS is an employment preparation program for high school students experiencing barriers to finding and/or keeping employment. Support will be provided in finding summer and/or part-time employment.
Please note that recruitment for this program is typically held in early spring.

Eligibility
- Students (15-18)
- Eligible to work in Canada
- High school students intending to stay in, or return to high school or access post-secondary education
- Facing additional challenges in finding or keeping employment
